Pressman / Printer Location: Richmond, VAShift Available: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM and 3:00 PM – 11:00 PMPay range: $23–$28/hour (higher compensation may be considered based on experience)We are seeking a Pressman/Printer to join our production team. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely and accurate execution of print production functions, working closely with production, customer service, and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain printing presses to meet daily production goals.

Convert digital artwork for proprietary digital presses using in-house procedures and pre-press knowledge.

Produce and review digital artwork proofs for accuracy and quality.

Maintain and organize artwork databases following proper naming and filing conventions.

Order, receive, and catalog new and reordered flexographic plates.

Develop and revise label artwork for finished product rolls.

Prepare and print skid tags, proofs, and production orders.

Collaborate with production, customer service, and QC teams to ensure quality and pre-press standards.

Troubleshoot press or pre-press issues and assist in developing new color books, formulations, and workflows.

Qualifications:

2–3 years of relevant print production or press operator experience.

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality under deadlines.

Knowledge of 4-color process and spot colors, typography, and flexographic plate making.

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, InDesign).

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred but not required:

Experience with SQL and SAP Business One.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Associate degree preferred.
