Title of Vacancy: Site Coordinator for Extended Day 21st Century Community Learning Centers

Qualifications: Meet minimum Standards for Certification as set forth by the West Virginia Board of Education Policy 5202 in Minimum Requirements for the Licensure of Professional Personnel and the qualification as outlined in West Virginia §18A-4-7a
· Minimum B.A/B.S degree from an accredited institution in the appropriate areas including Education, Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Recreation or other educational degree.
· Valid West Virginia Teaching Certificate.
· Criminal background check conducted pursuant to WV Code §18-5-15c and/or §18A-3-10
· Experience in working with secondary-level teachers and students, preferred.
Immediate Supervisor: Director of Federal Programs; District Coordinator for 21st CCLC
Program Overview:
The 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) are designed to support and extend learning opportunities for K-12 students beyond the regular instructional day. The program will provide academic enrichment opportunities for students to meet state and local standards in core academic subjects, enrichment activities that complement regular academic programs, and support parents/families for literacy and other educational services.
Job Summary:
The 21st Century Community Learning Center Coordinator:
· Coordinates the implementation of curriculum, instruction, and assessment programs in the after-school classroom and monitors the instructional delivery to targeted students. Consults with district 21st CCLC coordinator and team, principal, and teachers to ensure the program goals are being met. Evaluates and adjusts program offerings to ensure targeted students’ needs are being achieved.
Works with other site instructors and support staff for the 21st CCLC Extended Day Program to include completing site instructor agreements, establishing work schedules, and maintaining records.
· Acts as a liaison with community partners, school staff, students, and other stakeholders in regards to the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) Program. Coordinates district resources to support program including but not limited to assessment services, transportation, and other student services.
· Works with District and school personnel to ensure compliance with policies and procedures are being adhered to such as emergency, hiring, use of facility, student pick-up, lockdowns, permission slips, and other protocols. Facilitates fire drills and creates emergency plans for after school programs.
· Monitors student attendance of the programs by collecting attendance rosters, oversees attendance database, and tracking number of days in attendance per student. Researches student assessment and other demographics and enters information into the database.
· Facilitates the development of lesson plans and activities, maintains discipline, and evaluates student’s development for the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program.
· Assists with management of allocated budget by tracking expenditures, determines needs for materials and supplies, and submits receipts and other paperwork to the district 21st CCLC team.
· Oversees site personnel work schedules and timesheets; submits required employee payment paperwork to the district 21st CCLC team.
· Evaluates student data to target students for program participation. Oversees preparation of registration materials to register identified students.
· Distributes, collects, tallies surveys to monitor impact and needs.

Term of Employment: Starting October 21, 2025 through remainder of 2025-2026 SY
Hours: 3 hours per day / Monday-Thursday after-school
Pay: $35 per hour
