The Live Operations Analytics Lead is responsible for driving our reporting, data management, and metrics strategy across multiple teams in Live Operations. This role ensures that data is accurate, accessible, and actionable to enable better decision making, strengthen operational performance, and measure value to our customers.
This position will play a key role in turning raw data into meaningful insights, improving how we track and communicate our performance, and identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery. You’ll be working closely with team leadership, partner studios, business executives, and other stakeholders to ensure our reporting not only reflects the value we deliver but also informs where we go next.
Responsibilities:Data Management
- Oversee the collection, storage, and maintenance of operations data to ensure accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
- Maintain the reliability of key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreement (SLAs) data to ensure they are protected, accurate, and usable.
- Identify and establish new data points that create greater visibility, highlight new narratives, or provide additional value to Live Operations, our integrated studios, and the broader organization
Reporting and Metrics
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting systems to track, analyze, and communicate KPI and metric performance.
- Deliver regular and ad-hoc reports that highlight service health, product performance, and operational trends for internal and customer use
Data Analysis & Translation
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that could impact or influence Live Operations priorities.
- Translate findings into actionable recommendations that improve processes, optimize performance, and strengthen customer outcomes, while delivering clear narratives to leadership that connect data to strategic priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology fields, Computer Sciences, Data Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
- Demonstrated experience in data management, reporting, and analytics within an operational or service delivery environment.
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Amazon QuickSight, PowerBI, Atlassian Analytics, Azure Data Explorer); ability to design and maintain clear, impactful dashboards and reports.
- Skilled in creating clear, concise, and visually compelling PowerPoint reports that translate complex data into actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical and analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate, or SQL certifications.
Live Operations Analytics Lead - The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $115,000 - $220,000 per year.
ZeniMax has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
