JOB SUMMARY: The Corporate Accounting Manager is responsible for management of the accounting staff while overseeing a full range of corporate accounting activities, incorporated into the monthly close cycle, including monthly journal entries, assistance with financial statement preparation and account analysis.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure transactions are recorded in conformity with U.S. generally accepted accounting principles and internal controls.
 - Oversee intercompany and transfer price mark-up eliminations, foreign currency translations, and investment in subsidiaries activity.
 - Oversee segment reporting and requisite allocations/elimination activities
 - Partner with Accounting Systems, technology, and project teams to define future state consolidations processes
 - Partner with the Technical Accounting Group to ensure transactions are recorded in compliance with U.S. GAAP
 - Review and approve journal entries and account reconciliations
 - Support the revenue accounting team where applicable in preparing account reconciliations, etc.
 - Identify, recommend, and implement process and system improvement initiatives.
 - Prepare and present accurate, timely financial reports and analysis
 - Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines and departments.
 - Ensure compliance with Internal Controls and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) Controls and regulations and requirements.
 - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
