About the Role

As an Associate Category Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting supplier relationships, analyzing category performance, and driving strategic initiatives that maximize value for PA and our Members. You’ll ensure that PA leverages the best from our supplier partners — and that suppliers have the data, insights, and support they need to grow spend and strengthen the partnership.

What You’ll Do

• Support supplier relationships to ensure top performance, competitive pricing, and contract compliance.

• Analyze category trends, pricing movements, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and risks.

• Develop and execute category strategies that deliver cost savings, innovation, and service excellence.

• Collaborate with analytics, operations, and finance teams to align supplier initiatives with business goals.

• Support supplier business reviews and share insights that drive continuous improvement and growth.

• Support sourcing activities, benchmarking, and commercial analysis to optimize supplier value.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable using data to drive decisions.

• Excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.

• Understanding of procurement, supply chain, or category management principles.

• Strategic thinker who can balance detail orientation with big-picture perspective.

• Highly motivated, collaborative, and results-oriented.

• Bachelor’s degree required; experience in MRO or indirect procurement a plus.
