Assistant Professor of Organ & Piano presso Lebanon Valley College

The Lebanon Valley College Department of Music invites applications for the position of assistant professor of Organ and Piano. This is a full-time, nine-month, three-year renewable contract position, beginning in August 2026. Candidates must have professional experience in private organ and piano instruction, church music, accompanying soloists and chamber ensembles, and class piano. Additional possible duties include administering piano competency, handbell ensemble, and overseeing the international student exchange program. Previous teaching experience, a collaborative spirit, and continued scholarly activity is paramount. The successful candidate will be expected to recruit and retain exceptional students. A doctorate degree in organ or one of the other domains as outlined above is preferred. Candidates with a master’s degree and exceptional performing and teaching experience may be considered.
