Join Anglian Water's Strategic Pipeline Alliance as a Project Controls Manager

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about contributing to one of the UK’s most ambitious water infrastructure projects? The Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) is searching for a Project Controls Manager to support and enhance our project delivery team.
What will you be doing as our new Project Controls Manager
The Project Controls Manager will provide consultation and support services related to project management such as, but not limited to, cost estimating services, scheduling, best practices solutions, procurement, benchmarking and overseeing and reporting the health of the project.
You will be responsible for leading a Project Controls team combining both Client and Delivery partner employees, and will also be responsible for the update / implementation of the Project Execution Plan (and subsequent processes and procedures).
Key responsibilities:
Manage the review and contribute to the acceptance of the Contract Programme (working with the EPMO, Programme Director, Head of Operations, Commercial Director, SHEQ Lead, Lead Planner etc), on-time completion of work activities and the implementation of project control procedures (Project Controls Plan, Estimating, Planning, Cost Control and Reporting, Safety Performance data).
Responsible for undertaking project reviews and providing reports to be included in the monthly reporting cycle to the Delivery Partner and Client Boards.
Advise and consult on the application of effective planning techniques and controls and provide reports and commentary capturing earned value, cost and schedule variance, estimates and completion, critical path analysis, and safety performance.
Work closely with the relevant Delivery Partner Project and Commercial Managers, and their staff across the project.
Develop, own and continuously improve Project Control processes for the project.
Take ownership and champion risk management across the project
Drive a culture of continuous improvement in Health & Safety (H&S), ensuring consistent H&S standards are maintained.

This job might be for you if you have:
Proven experience in water environment
Experience of major infrastructure projects / programmes
Experience of leading a project controls team
Computer literate, with significant project reporting experience, including Power-Bi.
Excellent communication and reporting skills within a stakeholder environment
Experience of managing a team with the ability to meeting the workload of oneself and others to tight deadlines
