A Day in the Life of a Site Supervisor at First Onsite

Every day as a Site Supervisor is a blend of supervision, coordination, and hands-on action. You're the connection between project plans and real-results - ensuring that every repair, rebuild, and restoration meets our high First Onsite standards and safety protocols.

Your morning starts by reviewing project schedules and assigning work orders from Project Managers. You make sure every crew knows their tasks, materials are ready, and timelines are clear. Whether it's a complex commercial cleaning project, a rebuild or a repair, you set the tone for quality, safety, and teamwork from the start.

Throughout the day, you're on site and in motion - inspecting work, providing direction, and solving problems on the fly. You verify that demo work meets our standards, refine scopes when needed, and create comprehensive materials lists to keep projects running smoothly.

Communication is key - you keep everyone informed, from your crews to clients and Construction Operations Managers, making sure updates, changes, and progress reports are shared in real time.

You model our values by leading safety meetings, reviewing timesheets, and ensuring every person goes home safe at the end of the day.

Experience:

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a construction supervisor / foreman /manager or lead water technician position with reports, within the restoration/emergency or commercial construction industry
• High level of construction process knowledge and project scheduling knowledge
• Detailed understanding of reconstruction practices for property that has suffered water, wind, mould, fire and vandalism damages
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Computer skills required: effectively use Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Understanding of invoicing, billing and math.
• Ability to work as part of a team and demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence and safety
• A full G driver's license and the ability to pass a background check
• Note - work activities may include physical labour, material handling and lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces)
