Machine Operation
- Set up and operate CNC vertical machining centers (VMCs). Lathes, and drill presses after the initial training period.
- Load and secure raw materials, fixtures, and tooling into machines.
- Perform routine adjustments, tool changes, and offsets as needed.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet quality and dimensional requirements.
Quality & Inspection
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and diagrams.
- Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc.) to verify part accuracy.
- Conduct and document in-process and final inspections according to company standards.
- Maintain accurate quality records.
Operational Responsibilities
- Perform daily machine checks, including lubrication, coolant levels, and general condition.
- Report equipment issues or malfunctions immediately to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
- Follow all operational procedures accurately and consistently.
- Actively participate in training to improve machining skills and technical knowledge.
- Suggest and support process improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and safety.
