An IFS Systems Analyst is focused on supporting the users of the IFS ERP system by providing expertise on specific modules, troubleshooting issues, training users and creating enhancements. This position will provide general support for all IFS modules as well as taking ownership of specific modules and providing more specialized support in those areas.
Essential Duties:
- Support business users in IFS with concentration in HR, Sales, Quality Management, and Service & Maintenance.
- Design, develop and deploy IFS system enhancements in HR, Sales, Quality Management, and Service & Maintenance.
- Translate business requirements into detailed IFS specifications with use of SOPs and process flows.
- Maintain IFS work instructions and support end-user training.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Strong functional and technical experience with IFS Applications, including cloud.
- Experience supporting the following IFS modules: HR, Sales, Quality Management, and Service & Maintenance.
- Ability to solve problems through research and testing.
- Experience in configuration layer enhancements such as custom fields, custom menus, and custom events.
- Comfortable training large groups of users.
- Ability to create work instructions using Click Learn.
- Ability to create process flow diagrams using Visio.
- Ability to create and implement test plans for an ERP implementation.
- Excellent communication skills with a problem-solving approach.
Non-essential Skills:
- Experience working with permission sets and IFS Security.
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL.
- Ability to develop custom APIs using PL/SQL.
- Customization and Core layer code development in IFS Cloud using IFS Developer studio.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
5+ years as Business Systems Analyst with concentration in the following IFS modules: HR, Sales, Quality Management, and Service & Maintenance.
Working Conditions and Hazards:
Normal plant, shop, field, or office conditions. From time to time, slightly disagreeable features. Negligible/little or no exposure to hazardous conditions.
