Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in strategy, finance, operations or marketing leadership.
  • Experience developing financial and investment models in any type of business, marketing or operations functions.
  • Experience working cross-functionally within a global organization.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or graduate degree in a Business, Finance, Technical or Engineering field.
  • Experience using enterprise financial planning tools.
  • Experience working in a creative environment with a passion for marketing and creative programs.
  • Ability to partner with, advise, and develop communications for executives.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to mentor peers and coach teammates on projects.
  • Passion for technology, often demonstrated through working in a tech/media/telecom company.

The team develops branded products, programs, and narrative experiences that express the unique value of our brands in the marketplace. In this role, you will be responsible for evolving team strategy, implementing efficiency programs, managing the budget, overseeing resource allocation, and collaborating with various stakeholders across Google Cloud Marketing (GCM), including Global Growth and Demand, Regional Marketing, and Finance. You will interface with external Cloud teams such as Marketing Operations, Global Procurement, and Media Lab. You will optimize performance/return on investment, strengthen core processes, and enhance operational excellence. You will be involved in addressing business issues spanning Strategy and Operations, Technology, Marketing, and Business and resolving issues critical to Cloud executives and internal groups like Marketing Operations.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$245,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Partner with Marketing, Finance and Strategy and Operations leadership to develop strategic perspectives on topics that drive decisions and set future direction of the business, including opportunities for growth and scale and increased efficiency, speed to market, and accelerating business impact.
  • Execute processes and programs to drive efficiency and increase impact for our team and Cloud Marketing.
  • Manage supporting Strategy and Operations vendors, talent procurement, and Partner Operations for temporary staff members.
  • Facilitate budget negotiations, distribution and management throughout the year with operations, finance and marketing teams, including oversight of POs and management of vendor and agency agreements.
  • Own the annual planning cycles with global and regional marketing teams. Help build and maintain rhythm of the business dashboards and metrics, and run metrics/business calls to ensure the brand and creative team is meeting targets.
