NON-CORE SUPERVISOR

We are seeking a dedicated Non-Core Supervisor (Surface - Maintenance) to lead and coordinate maintenance activities in an industrial setting.  This role is responsible for ensuring the safety of the team, maintaining equipment reliability, and driving continuous improvement.  The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, proven leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Where will you work: Onsite at Carlsbad, NM (1361 Potash Mines Road - Carlsbad, NM 88220)

Schedule: 9/80 schedule (Monday-Friday with every other Friday off)

What you’ll do?

• Demonstrate excellent leadership abilities to guide and support the maintenance team.
• Lead daily safety meetings and promote a strong safety culture.
• Establish and uphold internal work standards across the maintenance team.
• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance job plans according to schedule.
• Develop and manage daily work schedules based on weekly plans and production outages.
• Review and validate Work Order Feedback; implement productivity improvement initiatives.
• Oversee weekly maintenance workflow in assigned facility areas.
• Mentor and motivate staff to build a high-performance maintenance team.
• Order necessary parts and equipment to support maintenance activities.
• Travel up to 80+ miles per day as required.

What you’ll need:

• Certification: New Mexico Water Certification Level 2 or higher is highly preferred.
• Education: High school diploma or GED required; Technical Secondary School in a related field preferred.
• Preferred Experience: 5+ years in an industrial leadership role.  5+ years of experience with hands-on maintenance experience in an industrial environment.  SAP or Maximo system proficiency. Trenching and excavation experience.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities.  Capable of operating water systems manually and electronically. Background in low voltage electrical systems.  Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), CMMS platforms, and basic reporting tools.
