SQL DB Lead engineer presso Prodapt

We are seeking an experienced SQL Database expert with strong skills in query tuning and performance optimization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of advanced SQL concepts and be capable of writing clean, efficient queries while optimizing existing ones for performance and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and optimize complex SQL queries for performance improvements.
• Review and interpret query execution plans to identify bottlenecks.
• Implement indexing strategies and fine-tune database performance.
• Refactor stored procedures and parameterized queries for efficiency.
• Monitor database performance and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with development and data teams to ensure best practices in query design.
• Provide guidance on database architecture and optimization techniques.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SQL databases (e.g., MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Expertise in query tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis.
• Strong knowledge of stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools and techniques.
• Ability to write clean, concise, and efficient SQL code.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with large-scale databases and high-volume data environments.
• Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS).
