- Ensure patients receive quality care
- Ensure documentation is accurate and complete
- Oversight/care for stable patients
- Assist Veterinary Technicians with patient restraint
- Manage the restocking of supplies for clinical teams
- Maintain clean treatment areas and manage laundry needs of department
- Transports patients in a safe and professional manner.

- General errands for the hospital team.
- Maintain clean parking lot and yard area
- Help with outside trash
- Transport medical equipment between facilities and/or run errands as requested by the Clinical, Practice or Hospital Manager.
- Communicates with clinical and client services staff in order to receive relevant data and instructions.
- Maintains a professional behavior, and attitudes in regard to staff, coworkers and clients.
- Completes vehicle maintenance inspection prior to daily vehicle usage for safe and comfortable patient transport.
- Assists with transfer of patients in conjunction with technical staff.
- Understands directions and the ability to read and use maps accurately.
- Performs all related duties as assigned.
- Safety and Company Policy Compliance: Be conscientious and aware of any potential dangers and implement safety measures when necessary for the protection of all staff, clients and patients. Follow protocols and policies in compliance with OSHA and the employee handbook.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
- Must pass mandatory and random drug and alcohol screening.
- Genuine concern for others.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Access to telephone; able to use and follow a schedule.
- Ability to keep accurate mileage records in accordance with given procedures.
- HS Diploma or GED required.
