Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, direct patient care and support to providers and clinical staff by performing both clinical and administrative duties in a professional and efficient manner.

As a Medical Assistant, you’ll be an integral member of a forward-thinking clinical team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and service in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Medical Assistant Essential Functions:
- Perform a wide range of administrative and clinical tasks, including obtaining and documenting patient medical histories, answering and directing phone calls, and ensuring completion of all necessary forms
 - Maintain medical supply inventory and perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure proper operation
 - Prepare patients for examinations by conducting preliminary physical assessments, taking vital signs, and summarizing patient history for providers
 - Set up and maintain clean, organized treatment rooms for clinical examinations
 - Communicate physician instructions to patients and answer basic questions regarding treatment and care
 - Provide compassionate support and assistance to patients and their families throughout their visit
 - Ensure strict compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA and OSHA
 - Assist providers, clinical staff, and other team members as needed
 - Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support overall clinic operations
 
Medical Assistant Required Skills/Abilities:
- Solid understanding of medical procedures, administrative workflows, and organizational policies
 - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
 - Proficient in a variety of administrative tasks, including scheduling, documentation, and records management
 - Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to take initiative and demonstrate leadership when needed
 - Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic health record (EHR) systems
 - Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to express ideas effectively
 - Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
 - Adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Requirements
Medical Assistant Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
 - One year of prior experience in a medical setting preferred
