You'll operate powerful equipment, follow precise safety protocols, and, most importantly, deliver a safe and legendary guest experience with a commitment to Rock Star standards of cleanliness!
Responsibilities
- Perform all daily cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, window washing, and meticulous restroom cleaning.
- Clean, sanitize, and disinfect high-touch areas, including the exterior of electronic gaming machines, chairs, gaming tables, doors, toilets, and sinks.
- Properly handle and dispose of waste and follow all company guidelines for cleaning biohazardous spills.
- Operate heavy-duty cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, commercial vacuums, and extractors.
- Maintain all designated work areas, including offices and back-of-house spaces, to a standard of excellence in detailing.
- Assist guests with courtesy by answering questions and directing them to desired locations on the property (Customer Focus).
- Perform assigned duties within larger project detail cleaning initiatives.
- Ensure all cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting processes adhere to established safety and procedural guidelines.
- Clean and maintain outside areas as required by shift assignments.
Qualifications
- Experience/Education: Six (6) months of general work experience or High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- Safety & Compliance: Knowledge of proper sanitation and disinfection techniques, including methods for decontamination and spill management.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrated ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Operational Skills: Ability to safely operate heavy duty cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers).
- Physical Demands: Must be able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
- Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively as part of a team.
- Licensing: Ability to obtain and maintain licensing by the appropriate gaming authority.
- Work Environment: Must be comfortable working in an environment that includes exposure to second-hand smoke and crowd noise on the casino floor.
