ERP Sr. Solution Analyst presso United Radio

The ERP Solution Analyst will be part of a team responsible to create and implement the strategic direction of the ERP system and ancillary applications. In this capacity, the Solution Analyst collaborates with teams in Operations and Technology to collect information, perform research, and summarize analysis in support of development and implementation.  The Solution Analyst will become a content expert on configuration, use, and function of M3 and the supporting systems.

Hours for this position are M-F 8:00am-5:00pm and is an onsite position only. REMOTE WORK IS NOT AVAILABLE.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: note that other duties and task may be assigned.

• Builds trust and respect, through establishing relationships with technical and non-technical team members.
• Consults frequently with technical and non-technical team members to ensure a complete understanding of their needs and concerns.
• Act as a liaison with our business stakeholders in the development of business process flows, discovery/scoping of requirements, design documents, test cases and operating procedures.
• Ability to learn and comprehend business processes and new technology quickly.
• Create documentation for systems, business requirements, user manuals and training materials.
• Documents and communicates requirements to IT development team. 
• Develops, maintains and demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of business and technical environments. 
• Explain functional and technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Identify areas for improvement and alignment across Divisions and locations.
• Exhibit a positive attitude and demonstrate creativity in all phases of incumbent duties and responsibilities.
• Analyzes, develops, deploys and maintains solutions to United Radio business needs including but not limited to M3 and the supporting systems. 
• Participate in the migration of the ERP system to the next release.
• Provide quality assurance testing on newly developed customizations before deploying to the users.
• Isolate, identify and resolve or initiate corrective action regarding errors.
• Contributes to and complies with United Radio’s policies, procedures, and quality systems.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 

There is no supervisory component to this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

• College degree (associates or above) or one to two years related experience as a Solution or Business Analyst. 
• ERP system configuration, deployment, and user training experience is preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS 

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.   Ability to write procedures, routine reports and correspondence.   Ability to communicate well in one-on-one situations with employees and management.   

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS 

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, discounts, volumes, areas and circumferences.  Create and maintain databases and spreadsheets.  Ability to apply discrete and abstract concepts of Algebra and Geometry.

REASONING ABILITY 

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.   Ability to gather all facts and maintain an objective stance when in unpredictable situations with employees and management.

Total compensation for this role is market competitive. The anticipated salary range for this position based out of Syracuse, NY is estimated annually between $70,000 and $82,000.  The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities, geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.  United Radio offers competitive compensation to all of its employees as well as comprehensive benefits which include: Medical, Dental, 401k, Paid-Time-Off, Holiday pay, and much more.
