What you’ll do:

1. Provide High-end Hospitality Sales, Service & Communication: Follow up on leads via phone, email and text.  Prepare informational materials and organize and monitor logistics for classes and off-site programming such as draft contracts, finalize deals, send invoices, and partner follow up.  Communicate with students, parents and program managers to discuss student progress and identify opportunities for growth and upselling of additional classes and camps

2. Ensure Student Success: Ensure student success by actively engaging with students and teachers to observe, document and communicate their progress and opportunities for growth

3. Teach Art Classes: Teach weekly art classes and summer camps for a variety of ages and media

4. Implement One River Methodology Curriculum: Ensure teachers have lesson plans/resources on time and implement the One River Method through each class effectively and contribute to lesson plan development regularly

5. Run a best-in-class studio: Order and Re-stock art supplies. Ensure that all classes are fully equipped by monitoring and maintaining inventory and communicating with Teachers about their material needs

6. Special Events: Organize and manage one off special events, receptions, workshops etc.

Requirements:

• BA/BS in Visual Art, Art Education or Design (Master’s a plus) 

• 1+ years experience teaching visual arts for K–12 and/or adults

• 2+ years of program management experience

• Track record of high-quality instruction, classroom management, and student progress.

• Proven ability to work reach goals and grow program enrollment

• Clear communicator, organized, and energized by a busy studio environment

• Passion for art history, contemporary art and a “students-first” mindset

Schedule & Compensation:

• This is a Full time Position, 5 days per week some evening teaching hours

• Salary: $55,000 + quarterly bonus eligibility
