We are searching for a talented Mission Advancement Associate for a TEMPORARY assignment.
Hours: 40hrs - temporary
Shift: Day shift;
Location: New Bedford, MA

Responsibilities:Position reports to Director, Mission Advancement or designee and requires a high degree of adaptability and flexibility as a member of the Mission Advancement team. Must place a high priority on ownership of data integrity and thus, be organized, a self-starter, and maintain a consistent independence of action. Have a consistent and sharp attention to detail in conducting all aspects of data entry, gift processing, database management, communication regarding creation and updates of donor records, report and mailing list generation and other duties as requested to support effective donor relations for the Mission Advancement team. Commit to training and coaching for increased mastery of the database to include report and mailing list generation query's, list generating, research and use screening tools for donor prospects. Must be a good communicator and take initiative to support the team with fundraising efforts through accurate and timely database management. Maintain best practices for timely and accurate recording and project completion of donor information.Qualifications:- Highly proficient and effective with the use of technology for word processing, spreadsheet, and database software management.
- Experience with fundraising and fundraising related software (Blackbaud Raiser's Edge experience preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, motivated, and punctual with a desire to learn and be a valued member of a team.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- At least two years of related experience is preferred.
