Job Summary
The OpportunitySupports financial decision making by monitoring deadlines; collecting, summarizing, and consolidating data; allocating variances; analyzing and interpreting data; making comparative analyses; explaining data and assumptions; researching and correcting variance problems; assembling and analyzing historical financial data; explaining data and assumptions.
-Provide analytical, forecasting, reporting, and project support to senior management
-Support the on-boarding of junior analysts by mentoring and assisting them
-Track key performance indicators, prepare financial reports and sometimes present them
-Create ad-hoc reports and perform financial analysis
-Assists project teams with financial guidance
-Reviews financial reporting and ensures data integrity to enable management decisions.
-Ensures compliance with financial guidelines, company policies and regulations
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required
- At least 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance required
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a role within a large healthcare organization preferred
Skills, and Abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Superior Excel Skills is required.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Ability to analyze, consolidate, and interpret accounting data.
