Homeoffice Credit and Collections Administrator II presso Conmed

CONMED is medical device manufacturer currently offering an exciting full time, experienced level opportunity for a Credit/Collections Administrator position. The core functions of this position are obtaining payments from delinquent customer accounts, providing friendly customer service for account issues, building relationships with CONMED customers, keeping past dues from aging beyond 90 days. If you enjoy social interaction, identifying/researching/resolving finance problems, and being a part of a growing organization, this may be a perfect fit for you. This is a remote position.

The ideal candidate is a friendly, organized, self-starter who will have confidence in performing the following tasks:

Duties, Responsibilities and Skills

• Collect on delinquent accounts utilizing CONMED's standard collection procedures and follow up processes.
• Ability to prioritize accounts to effectively reduce past dues of assigned portfolio.
• Interpersonal communication skills to determine issues and barriers for payment.
• Effective and clear communication via telephone and email with CONMED customers and employees.
• Resolve customer disputes by researching, collaborating, and completing necessary documentation.
• Escalate all accounts not responding to collection efforts to management for further review.
• Processing customer payments.
• Diligent account notes for each assigned account.
• Utilize Microsoft Office programs to assist in analyzing data and document creation for collection activities.
• Manage team mailboxes.
• Aptitude to learn new systems and become proficient in them.

Required Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of Collections/Accounts Receivable experience
• High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 – 5 years of Collections Experience
• Experience in Oracle, ManMan, GetPaid systems
• Proficient in Excel
• Associates Degree or higher in Business Administration

0-20% Travel
