ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
Treasury Management Business Strategy & Execution Officer is responsible for creating structured routines, improving coordination amongst key stakeholders, establishing project and program governance, and managing all key initiatives on behalf of the Treasury Management group. This position requires a disciplined candidate who enforces change management and strategic direction in collaboration with senior leaders. The role necessitates strong leadership qualities with particular attention to managing projects, risks, issues, budgets, and communication throughout dynamic strategy, as well as escalating challenges early when key milestones are at risk. The leader is expected to manage interdependencies between programs and business segments and provide solution-based recommendations to senior stakeholders.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
1. Develop and facilitate strategic plans and business administration for the TM Group, including course correction roadmaps and measurable goals. Create and deliver required content for board, executive, and management forums. Provide business administration support for expense reviews, infrastructure development, and TM Group communications.
2. Lead the execution of strategic planning and reporting of key objectives and results. Facilitate periodic reviews of strategic progress and monitor external trends and benchmarking. Develop executive reporting and insights in partnership with Data and Analytics team.
3. Build and manage initiative support teams that drive strategic and transformative initiatives within the TM Group through oversight of functional support team operations and capacity planning, determining organizational capacity and helping sequence work for leaders. Lead the resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring strategic thought leadership and analytical skills.
4. Manage project oversight and change management for highest priority initiatives. Ensure Enterprise Change Management framework adherence throughout all initiatives, projects, and strategic plans.
5. Drive department program structure and accountability for each initiative. Establish clear program structure and accountability frameworks with defined roles and responsibilities, including deliverable expectations and key milestones, and identify critical dependencies and interdependencies between initiatives. Maintain project documentation and progress tracking against commitments and manage stakeholder communication and relationship building.
6. Directly oversee escalation management and resolve issues for at-risk programs in a timely manner. Engage senior leadership to address challenges with urgency. Utilize analytical skills to ensure all available resources are applied to maintain progress toward objectives.
7. Ensure successful program closure and sustainability of implemented changes through capability-building and best practice change management. Confirm that deliverables meet established quality standards and align with program objectives. Provide guidance and oversight regarding audit reports and findings from Consumer Bank initiatives.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to confidently present to senior leaders.
* Demonstrated proficiency to communicate in an honest, transparent, and direct manner.
