Summary/Objective
The Human Resource Generalist is a hands-on representative of the DecisionHR Human Resources department whose job is to help facilitate all basic HR functions as well as Employee Relations functions. With diverse yet substantive job responsibilities, the Generalist works with providing client services support for our clients and employees.
Essential Functions
Responsible for serving as a point of contact for assigned clients and providing initial support services. Support areas including, but not limited to: Human Resources Information System (HRIS), Payroll, Unemployment Claims, HR consulting and training, BLR management, etc.
• Evaluates and analyzes client/employee requests quickly while interpreting the situation, determining the appropriate resolution, and communicating the resolution in a timely manner.
• Proactively escalates issues on the client’s behalf to ensure customer satisfaction and timely response.
• Maintains current knowledge of policies and procedures and provides excellent customer service to client/employee while maintaining confidentially.
• Provides employment-related data and prepares required reports for clients in a timely manner.
• Provides administrative and back-up support for HR (Everify, LOA’s and compliance).
• Perform effectively at a sustained pace and produce quality work for internal and external/external customers.
• Present to clients via webinar or onsite demos of HRIS systems and/or training.
Required Education and Experience
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent oral, interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience with MS Office software; strong in Excel.
• Organized and detail-oriented, with high level of accuracy.
• Ability to function autonomously and within a group setting.
• Ability to adapt to change in the workplace.
Preferred Education and Experience
• Bachelor's or associate's degree in Human Resources or closely related field.
• Experience in PEO preferred.
• PHR/SPHR certified
