Position Summary
The Contents Supervisor manages all aspects of the contents restoration process — including estimating, pack-outs, cleaning, storage, and delivery — while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and superior customer service. This position oversees the contents cleaning team and warehouse operations, ensuring that all personal property is properly handled, inventoried, restored, and returned to clients in a timely and professional manner. The Contents Supervisor serves as the primary point of contact for contents estimating, workflow management, and quality control, aligning with ARCO Restoration’s standards and values.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all contents operations, including pack-out, cleaning, deodorization, storage, and pack-back.
- Supervise, train, and schedule Contents Technicians and Cleaning Specialists, ensuring consistent quality and productivity.
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for contents jobs, including labor, materials, specialty cleaning, subcontractor services, and equipment use.
- Perform on-site assessments and communicate scope of work with Project Managers, Estimators, and clients.
- Manage the contents cleaning process, including quality control of items being cleaned, deodorized, and repackaged for return.
- Oversee the organization and maintenance of the contents warehouse, ensuring proper labeling, secure storage, and efficient workflow.
- Maintain accurate inventory documentation using contents management software (iCat, Encircle, or equivalent).
- Monitor project costs, labor hours, and materials usage to ensure budget adherence and profitability.
- Coordinate specialty restoration (electronics, art, textiles, etc.) with in-house staff or approved vendors.
- Ensure compliance with ARCO safety policies, OSHA standards, and company procedures.
- Provide regular updates to office staff, project managers, and clients regarding job progress and completion timelines.
- Participate in departmental budgeting, KPI tracking, and operational improvements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in contents restoration, estimating, or warehouse operations.
- Strong understanding of insurance restoration workflows and estimating platforms (Xactimate preferred).
- Experience with contents tracking software (Assured).
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work in varied conditions.
- IICRC certification in Fire & Smoke Restoration (FSRT) or Contents Processing preferred.
