Informatics Data Analyst | Faith Hospice
Faith Hospice has a unique opportunity for an Informatics Data Analyst to join their amazing team on a full-time basis.
What Will You Do as the Informatics Data Analyst?
- Manage and optimize the electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Ensure data integrity
- Transform clinical information into actionable insights that improve patient care, quality outcomes, and operational performance
- Serve as the bridge between clinicians and technology - translating patient care workflows into practical EMR functionality, decision support, and quality reporting
- Support Trillium Institute initiatives through accurate data collection, research, and evidence-based practice

- Deep understanding of data systems and passion for using technology to enhance high-quality care

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in health informatics, data analytics, healthcare administration or related field required
- 2-5 years of healthcare experience in data analysis and EMR management required
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) required
- Certification in informatics, health data analytics, or EMR vendor training (e.g. MatrixCare) preferred
- Experience supporting informatics-related projects, including workflow redesign, EMR upgrades, or system implementations preferred
- Familiarity with interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR) preferred
- Understanding of HIPAA, CMS Conditions of Participation, and quality reporting requirements (HQRP, HOPE, CAHPS) preferred
- Prior experience in hospice, palliative, or post-acute care settings preferred
