Informatics Data Analyst | Faith Hospice

Faith Hospice has a unique opportunity for an Informatics Data Analyst to join their amazing team on a full-time basis.

 

What Will You Do as the Informatics Data Analyst?

  • Manage and optimize the electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Ensure data integrity
  • Transform clinical information into actionable insights that improve patient care, quality outcomes, and operational performance
  • Serve as the bridge between clinicians and technology - translating patient care workflows into practical EMR functionality, decision support, and quality reporting
  • Support Trillium Institute initiatives through accurate data collection, research, and evidence-based practice

  • Deep understanding of data systems and passion for using technology to enhance high-quality care
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication abilities
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in health informatics, data analytics, healthcare administration or related field required
  • 2-5 years of healthcare experience in data analysis and EMR management required
  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) required
  • Certification in informatics, health data analytics, or EMR vendor training (e.g. MatrixCare) preferred
  • Experience supporting informatics-related projects, including workflow redesign, EMR upgrades, or system implementations preferred
  • Familiarity with interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR) preferred
  • Understanding of HIPAA, CMS Conditions of Participation, and quality reporting requirements (HQRP, HOPE, CAHPS) preferred
  • Prior experience in hospice, palliative, or post-acute care settings preferred
