About the Job:

We�re looking for a dependable, hands-on Fleet Mechanic to join our maintenance team. In this role, you�ll be responsible for performing routine maintenance and basic repairs on our company vehicles to ensure they stay safe, reliable, and ready to work.

Our fleet includes tractor trailers, light-duty trucks, vans, pickups, etc. This position is ideal for someone with general mechanical knowledge, who takes pride in keeping vehicles in top shape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, brake inspections, etc.
• Conduct basic repairs on engines, brakes, electrical systems, and drivetrains
• Diagnose mechanical issues and recommend solutions
• Maintain accurate service records and follow scheduled maintenance plans
• Inspect vehicles for wear, damage, or safety concerns
• Keep the shop clean and organized
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience as an automotive or fleet mechanic (or similar role)
• Basic knowledge of gas and/or diesel engines
• Ability to use hand tools, diagnostic tools, and equipment
• Valid driver�s license (CDL is a plus, but not required)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying conditions
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):

• ASE Certifications
• Experience working with fleet vehicles
• Welding or fabrication skills
• CDL License
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
