Job Details:
Purpose
Seeking a UT Austin student employee (work study or non-work study) to serve as front-line customer and student service representative for the Office of Student Affairs in the UT Austin College of Pharmacy.
Responsibilities
Provide coverage to the Office of Student Affairs front desk.
Welcome and receive all incoming visitors, students, staff and faculty.
Troubleshoot needs of students. Direct traffic to appropriate resources.
Provide support to Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, Continuing Education/ Development; etc.
Assist with financial transactions.
Complete projects related to data entry and analysis.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Experience in a customer service setting
Experience working in a college setting
Experience handling sensitive information
Experience with multitasking
Detail oriented and uses organizational tools
Demonstrate openness, inclusiveness, sensitivity, and the ability to interact respectfully with all people and understand individuals’ difference
Demonstrate personal accountability, ability to learn from mistakes, and effective work habits, e.g., punctuality, working productively with others, and time workload management.
Professional demeanor
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Salary Range
$10.50 - $11.00/hour depending on qualifications and experience

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm; up to 19 hours/week (flexible around class schedule)
