Who We Are


Golden Queen Mining Co., LLC (the “Company”) operates a gold and silver, open pit, heap leach operation on its Soledad Mountain property, located just outside the town of Mojave in Kern County in southern California. The Project uses conventional open pit mining methods and the cyanide heap leach and Merrill-Crowe processes to recover gold and silver from crushed, agglomerated ore.

Mojave is known as the city of “Golden Crossroads” because it is located at the nexus of the California Highways 14 and 58. These crossroads are a gateway to the destinations of commerce and tourism in the San Joaquin Valley, Mammoth, the Eastern Sierras, Las Vegas, the Eastern Mojave Desert, and the Los Angeles Basin.

This is a safety sensitive position. As the Crusher General Foreman you report to Crusher Superintendent. 


What You Do


  • Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the crushing and screening plant, conveying, and stacking systems.
  • Support the maintenance and operation of the Merrill-Crowe plant as needed.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to maximize equipment reliability while minimizing downtime.
  • Guide and direct operations and maintenance supervisors in daily activities, addressing personnel and performance matters as required.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of company policies and procedures across all crushing operations, including contractors.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute conveyor and cell moves to support production targets.
  • Develop and communicate daily work assignments to achieve operational goals.
  • Maintain quality assurance and quality control standards to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent production results.
  • Verify completion of pre-operation inspections and ensure safety-critical issues are addressed promptly.
  • Ensure employees participate in SLAM (Stop, Look, Analyze, Manage) before starting each task.
  • Confirm that weekly safety meetings and daily tailgate talks are conducted consistently.
  • Identify, prioritize, and schedule maintenance activities effectively to support production needs.
  • Review inspection reports and provide timely updates so maintenance planners have the necessary information for scheduling.
  • Collaborate with Mine Operations to blend materials for optimal throughput and recovery.
  • Promote a safe work environment through regular training, communication, and proactive hazard prevention — targeting zero incidents.
  • Foster constructive, positive communication and teamwork across all levels of the department.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


What You Bring


  • 5–10 years of experience in crushing and screening plant operations, conveying, and stacking systems.
  • Proven supervisory experience leading teams in an industrial or mining environment.
  • Strong technical and operational knowledge with the ability to lead both operations and maintenance functions effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
  • High professional standards with a focus on accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, capable of working independently with minimal direction.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
