ABW Technologies (Arlington, WA) and our subsidiary, Puget Sound Coatings (Seattle, WA), are growing — and we’re building out our recruiting function to keep pace. We’re looking for a full-time Industrial Recruiting Specialist with proven experience hiring welders, machinists, fabricators, project managers, and other skilled industrial talent.
This is a key position: you’ll help shape the future of our workforce and directly impact our ability to deliver projects for some of the most advanced industries in the country, including aerospace, nuclear, energy, and space systems.
What you’ll do:
- Own full-cycle recruiting for skilled trades and professional roles (shop and office).
- Source, screen, and hire candidates nationwide — welders, machinists, engineers, and Project Managers.
- Develop creative outreach channels (trade schools, veterans programs, LinkedIn, Indeed, referral pipelines).
- Coordinate pre-hire logistics, including relocation packages for select roles.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, branding, and hiring strategies.
- Manage candidate experience and drive continuous improvement across the process.
What we’re looking for:
- 3–5+ years of recruiting experience in industrial, manufacturing, or skilled-trade settings.
- Strong sourcing and relationship-building skills, especially in hard-to-fill markets.
- A proactive, organized, and collaborative approach to recruiting.
- Comfortable working remotely and traveling periodically to our Arlington / Seattle locations.
