DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs information/intelligence analysis, research, review, interpretation, evaluation, and integration of multi-source data and develop intelligence-based products from analytical insights.
- Develop strategic intelligence products, briefings, and reports to inform senior leadership, interagency partners, and operational decision-making.
- Disseminates public safety alerts, warnings, and notifications.
- Provides resource coordination in support of daily and emergency operations.
- Lead resource coordination and provide operational oversight during daily activities and emergency responses.
- Identify emerging threats, patterns, and trends to anticipate risks to homeland security and public safety.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, supporting professional development and knowledge transfer.
- Maintain proficiency with intelligence databases, analytic software, geospatial mapping tools, and emerging analytic technologies.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Intelligence Studies, or a related field.
- If you do not have a Bachelor's degree, the following may be substituted:
- High school diploma plus four (4) years of relevant experience
- Associate degree plus two (2) years of relevant experience
- Professional certification may be substituted for an additional year of relevant experience.
- Ten (10) years of relevant experience.
- Experience in emergency management, homeland security, public safety, or related field preferred
- Proven senior-level analytical and leadership experience.
- Advanced proficiency in intelligence databases, GIS, and analytic software.
- $50/hour
