Summary:
Under general supervision and according to established procedures, completes reviews, verifies, and corrects all billing forms for services rendered to inpatients and outpatients. Reconciles accounts against bills, reviews both for accuracy, makes corrections as necessary, updates A/R billing system with changes, correlates accounts with other associated forms, and performs other related clerical duties. Supports the organizational mission, values, vision, strategic plan and ensures that all regulatory and professional standards are maintained.

What’s Required:
- Minimum high school graduate or equivalent. Prefer Certificate or Associates Degree in Business or Accounting.
- Twelve months of experience in a similar position with demonstrated expertise in billing payment sources for inpatient and outpatient accounts.
- Analytical ability to reconcile billing and payment issues, review bills and other documents for accuracy, and make billing decisions based on the analysis.
