We seek to attract, develop, and retain the highest quality faculty who are committed to working with undergraduates. We welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate a commitment to creating inclusive learning in their classrooms. Pomona College, located 35 miles east of downtown Los Angeles, is the founding member of the Claremont Colleges, which also include Claremont McKenna, Scripps, Pitzer, Harvey Mudd, and Claremont Graduate University. Collectively, the Claremont Colleges constitute an academic community of approximately 6,500 students. As a result, Pomona students enjoy both the personalized instruction and close faculty-student interactions afforded by a small liberal arts college as well as the intellectual and extracurricular resources typically found at much larger universities. In collaboration with the Claremont Colleges Consortium, Pomona College offers many professional development, mentorship, and networking opportunities for visiting faculty.
