2nd Shift Sanitation Technician will support the Production department in a variety of functions and tasks.
Qualifications:
- Effective communication skills, including basic writing skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow all safety procedures, report all safety issues to the immediate supervisor, use safety gear as required
- Responsible for the cleaning and sanitization of facility
- Complete all necessary tasks required by Plant Sanitarian
- Maintains the equipment wash stations and hand wash sink as per standard operating procedures.
- Reports damaged product-contact parts, utensils and/or equipment to a supervisor.
- Maintain all equipment cleaned by the Sanitation department.
- Follow all GMPs.
- Empty all trash, and product waste containers after cleaning is done
- Ability to work with or with no supervision
- Follow company guidelines regarding occupational safety OSHA including wearing appropriate PPE
- Report any hazards or concerns to the sanitation supervisor
- Clean vinyl curtains, lockers, dock area for bailer, and dumpster.
