Job Summary:

CHL Operator Tavil Department

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Must identify product in box, use correct box (organic/RWA), place on scale, label product with correct weight and identification. 
• Ensures all information on case label is accurate.
• Must clean scale at end of shift.
   Must know how to change label rolls and any other general label application.
• Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are produced by immediately addressing any safety or quality concerns. Other duties may be assigned at the request of the Tray Pack Supervisor.
• Must learn how to operate weight price machine and verify accuracy of information once label is printed out. Information on this label must match with information on product and master case label.

Education and/or Experience:

Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

FOOD SAFETY:

Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are produced by immediately addressing any safety or quality concerns and this position serves as the back-up for QA Supervisor position.
