Position Summary
The OBGYN Physician provides comprehensive medical services to patients of all ages, with a focus on women’s health. This role supports the delivery of safe, efficient, and effective clinical care and contributes to a culture of excellence in patient services.
Key Responsibilities
- Optional OUTPATIENT ONLY
- Examine patients to assess health status and establish preventive care practices.
- Record detailed medical histories and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Analyze test results and diagnose conditions.
- Administer treatments and prescribe medications.
- Educate patients on wellness, hygiene, and disease prevention.
- Recommend dietary and physical activity plans.
- Administer immunizations and perform surgical procedures within scope.
- Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
- Supervise and mentor family practice residents.
- Participate in clinical meetings and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Licensed by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners.
- Board eligible or certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred.
- High ethical standards and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and relate to culturally diverse populations.
- Excellent communication skills; Spanish proficiency is strongly preferred.
- Ability to interpret complex medical documents.
