To provide comprehensive technical support to Financial Planning Advisors, contributing to the delivery of high-quality client service and helping to build and maintain strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and deliver client reports and annual reviews to the highest professional standards.
- Action requests from Advisors promptly and accurately.
- Gather, record, and maintain client data using Intelligent Office.
- Provide relevant information to support annual review processes.
- Communicate effectively with clients and third parties, both in person and remotely.
- Collaborate closely with administrative support to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Manage and prioritise personal workflow to meet deadlines and service standards.
- Develop, document, and maintain processes related to technical support.
- Conduct product research to support financial planning recommendations.
- Operate in line with the firm’s compliance framework and corporate standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
- Provide regular reporting on key performance measures.
- Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations, Charles Stanley’s Compliance Manual, Financial Planning Practice Manual, and Staff Handbook.
- Promote awareness and adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.
- Set and uphold high personal standards, fostering a culture of diligence and professionalism within the department.
- Assist in compiling and delivering accurate Management Information (MI).
- Degree-level education (or equivalent) preferred.
- Minimum CII Level 4 qualification.
- Proven experience in delivering Paraplanning services within a financial planning environment.
- Strong technical knowledge across all areas of financial planning.
- Proficient in using financial planning tools and modelling software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build client trust and confidence.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Capable of maintaining appropriate status within the Division’s T&C regime.
- Self-motivated with a proactive and flexible approach to work.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
