About the Role:

The Proposal Writer is responsible for researching, developing, and producing high-quality proposals that align with Velociti Services’ standards and policies. More than just crafting persuasive documents, this position involves collaborating with internal departments and client-facing teams to design tailored service solutions that address specific client challenges and goals. The ideal candidate is articulate, highly organized, and able to write in a clear, persuasive, and factual manner under tight deadlines.

What You’ll Do:

• Research, write, and organize information for proposals in a professional, credible, and results-oriented manner.
• Collaborate with sales and operations leaders to develop client-focused solutions that blend Velociti’s capabilities with customer requirements.
• Participate in client discovery sessions and pre-bid meetings to gather information directly from customer interactions.
• Review products, services, and business models to create compelling proposals that highlight innovation and value-driven outcomes.
• Develop persuasive strategies and executive summaries emphasizing client benefits and unique value propositions.
• Manage proposal processes including coordination with subject matter experts, review cycles, and content approvals.
• Attend internal and client-facing meetings to identify proposal opportunities, contribute ideas, and refine service approaches.
• Ensure accuracy and alignment of all proposal content with company brand standards, leadership guidance, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to create impactful visuals, infographics, and layouts that enhance proposal readability and engagement.
• Present proposal updates, insights, and metrics to leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in proposal development processes and client solutions design.
• Perform other duties as assigned or requested to support business objectives and proposal innovation.

What We’re Looking For:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into persuasive, client-friendly language.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure consistency in tone, structure, and brand messaging.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple deliverables, and thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Skilled in research, organization, and factual writing with a data-informed approach.
• Experience developing persuasive business, sales, or technical proposals in a customer-centric environment preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe tools, and other relevant proposal management software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
