Position: Senior Project Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to lead critical IT initiatives supporting federal government contracts. Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and direct computer-related activities, including resource allocation, risk management, and project scheduling.
- Build and lead software development and maintenance teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring high performance.
- Implement and integrate computer systems to meet customer and stakeholder requirements, including testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with federal IT standards (e.g., NIST, FISMA) and maintain security protocols throughout project lifecycles.
- Conduct stakeholder briefings, deliver monthly progress reports, and analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and optimize IT processes.
- Provide leadership in agile or waterfall methodologies, ensuring on-time delivery of project milestones.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT roles, including:
- Planning and directing organizational computer-related activities.
- Managing software development and maintenance teams.
- Implementing systems to meet customer requirements.
- Active Secret clearance (IT-II level) required and must be maintained throughout employment.
- Cybersecurity Workforce Framework (CWF) certification may be required; highest anticipated level is IAM III (e.g., CISSP, CISM, or equivalent).
- Strong project management skills with proficiency in agile/waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a secure, high-stakes environment.
