Salary Range- $61,776-$67,184

Job Responsibilities:

1. Design, assemble, and maintain mechatronic systems to automate industrial tasks, ensuring operational efficiency and efficacy.
2. Perform diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures on mechatronic systems to ascertain and remedy faults or malfunctions.
3. Test the performance of electromechanical assemblies, using test instruments and software.
4. Read, interpret, and analyze schematic diagrams, blueprints and technical documentation to accurately install and configure systems.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system installation, ensuring all systems comply with company and industry standards.
6. Work closely with engineers to develop and implement automated systems and processes.
7. Maintain records of all maintenance, repair, and calibration activities, and create technical reports on work performed, when necessary.
8. Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are strictly adhered to, minimizing risk of injury and equipment damage.
9. Utilize various tools and equipment to accurately measure and install parts and assemblies, making necessary adjustments to optimize performance.
10. Research, recommend, and implement new technology or enhancements to existing technology to improve the overall performance and efficiency of mechatronic systems.
11. Provide training and guidance to less experienced technicians, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
12. Support system audits and corrective action plans to minimize instances of defects and maximize product quality.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Job Qualifications:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
2. A minimum of five years of hands-on experience working as a Mechatronics Technician or in a similar role.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of complex automated systems, as well as proficiency in using diagnostic tools to detect and resolve system faults.
4. Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and computer systems.
5. Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software and a strong understanding of reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
6. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
7. Proven experience in maintaining and repairing industrial automation equipment.
8. Excellent communication skills for explaining complex technical information to non-specialist colleagues.
9. Industry-relevant certification(s) may be required.
10. Ability to safely and effectively use a wide range of tools and equipment.
11. Keen understanding of industry safety standards and regulations.
12. Proven ability to work independently or as part of a team as the task requires.
