Remote, however, must be located in the Milwaukee area to support attendance at University Recruiting & Events in the WI Market. Generally M-F, however Evenings & Weekends could be required for events. Some travel is required.
Pay Range
$32.45 - $48.70Major Responsibilities:
- Plans and executes the logistics of events and partners with internal and external teams to create cost-effective and appealing event programs to attract talent which align with stated goals and objectives.
- Collaborates with recruitment teams to establish goals and objectives for events and suggest new opportunities and strategies to reach those goals.
- Creates themes, planning calendar, and committee structure for each event within budget. Creates sequencing of each event to ensure all details are executed in a seamless manner. Creates volunteer assignments and communicate with volunteers their roles and responsibilities and manage volunteers on-site to ensure proper execution of duties.
- Manages all day-of-event activities and ensures a smooth and successful execution of event planning including direction of various vendors, catering, guest registration, program needs, etc. Oversees appropriate technology tools to use to create a premium guest experience and capture talent information for future sourcing needs. Keeps abreast of event trends, suggest and implement new and innovative approaches to event logistics, and themes to keep events interesting and fresh.
- Creates expense budget based on event needs to meet ROI standards. Communicate a focus on ROI to leadership teams to ensure awareness and future planning.
- Secures vendor bids and collaborate with chosen vendors to ensure targets are met. Tracks and monitors expenses throughout the year and keep up to date on income to ensure expense budget is aligned with event goals and objectives and ROI. Participates in continuous quality improvement for events, sponsorships and event results for program effectiveness, efficiency and economies of scale.
- Collaborates with Marketing and Brand and site leadership teams to create event collateral that matches the vision and needs of each event. Ensures event collateral meets vision of site teams as well as needs of the event and ensures event messaging and remarks are aligned with overall communications and event goals.
- Collaborates with Social Media team to ensure proper advertisement pre and post event to increase awareness and engagement.
- Manages data information on behalf of the event team to ensure guest information is captured and recorded on an ongoing basis. Manages and oversees all tracking of event information entered and extracted to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data entry.
- Completes gift transmittals as needed for event income pre and post event income. Collaborates with database operations team associates to ensure accuracy of all lists, labels and reports associated with events. Remains informed and knowledgeable on health care and resource development issues and trends in general.
Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification Required:
- None required
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in Human Resources or related field.
Experience Required:
- Typically requires 3 years of experience in talent acquisition that includes experiences in event management, project management, and consultation.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- Knowledge of recruitment best practice, methods, research and strategies applied in large organizations.
- Skills in influencing and developing others who are not direct reports in order to move toward common goals and outcomes.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact with executives, management, physicians, and team members at all levels.
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse work group and with a wide range of audiences consisting of different generations, cultures, and learning styles.
- High level of proficiency and literacy in using the Microsoft Office Suite, similar products and other technology solutions.
- Strong organizational skills to manage various vendors, volunteers, and large-scale events.
- Ability to navigate and establish priorities in an often, ambiguous environment.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- This position requires travel, therefore, will be exposed to weather and road conditions.
- Operates all equipment necessary to perform the job.
