HR & Payroll Specialist, EMEA
We are looking for an HR & Payroll Specialist to join our HR team and support our EMEA region. This position will be responsible for payroll across the UK, Spain & Ireland, as well as supporting on HR activities across these countries, as well as Sweden. You’ll be a key member of our HR team, supporting our international workforce and collaborating closely with finance, managers, and external payroll providers.

Responsibilities:
- Payroll: partner with our external payroll providers in the UK and Spain to ensure every payroll run is smooth, accurate, and compliant. Oversee key annual activities such as audits, P11Ds, PSAs, and social security submissions — keeping everything running seamlessly behind the scenes.
- Irish payroll: Take ownership of payroll calculation and coordination in Ireland, working hand-in-hand with our external provider to deliver a flawless monthly payroll experience.
- Provide hands-on HR support across our European teams throughout the employee lifecycle — from onboarding and employee relations to engagement, performance, and day-to-day HR operations.
- Oversee our employee benefits and leading on annual renewals for key benefits.
- Collaborate with finance and the wider business to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Champion key life-stage processes — from maternity and paternity to flexible working — ensuring employees are supported and valued every step of the way.
- Actively connect with our UK colleagues through meaningful engagement initiatives, occasional office and facilities support, and an approachable in-person presence that helps nurture a great employee experience.
Qualifications:
- Experience managing and overseeing payroll processes, as well as an understanding of local employment laws, social security, and statutory reporting requirements. Experience in Spain and Ireland desirable but not essential.
- Proficient with HRIS, excel and payroll systems (e.g. Workday, ADP or similar).
- Hands-on experience supporting the full employee lifecycle — from onboarding and employee relations to performance and engagement.
- CIPD qualified or working towards this qualification desirable.
- Enthusiastic about people, culture, and making HR a meaningful part of the employee experience.
