About the Position:
We are looking for a Fulfillment Team Lead to support and coordinate unique, time-sensitive fulfillment initiatives. This position plays a key role in ensuring high-priority orders and special projects are completed accurately and on time. The Team Lead will act as a hands-on floor leader, working closely with the shipping and inventory teams to ensure the efficient execution of all time sensitive tasks. This is a full time position from 7:30am to 6:30pm, Monday - Saturday on a rotating 4/10 schedule. Some overtime, nights and weekends may be periodically required. This position is located in New Boston, TX and will report to the Director of Fulfillment.
Key Roles and Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Lead daily special project shipping tasks to include priority, launch, and seasonal shipments.
- Assign and guide a team of 4-6 Project Team Members, ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor workflow and quality for on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with the shipping and inventory team to manage special orders and material availability.
- Track project progress and report completion status to management.
- Train and coach new and existing team members on correct shipping procedures.
- Support other shipping or warehouse functions as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Promote teamwork, respect, and a positive attitude within the department.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of order management and fulfillment processes.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and shift tasks quickly.
- Must be detail oriented and quality driven.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical and Environmental Requirements:
- Able to stand, bend, and walk throughout the shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- May assist with moving inventory or boxes outdoors or between facilities in varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment with moderate noise levels and required PPE.
