As Senior Vice President, Talent and Brand Strategy, you will be responsible for shaping and advancing the company’s reputation, culture, and workforce strategy through integrated leadership of Human Resources, Marketing, Corporate Communications, Brand Strategy, Community Affairs and Strategic Philanthropy. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our people, brand, and purpose are aligned and embedded across the organization to drive enterprise performance and engagement.

This corporate position will report directly to the President & CEO and will be a member of the executive leadership team.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

In this role, you can expect to:

  • Lead the development and execution of an integrated talent and brand strategy that supports the company’s business objectives, values, and long-term vision.

  • Champion a high-performance and empowered culture through enterprise-wide talent strategies, leadership development, and employee engagement programs.

  • Oversee all facets of Human Resources including workforce planning, total rewards, talent acquisition, development, and organizational effectiveness.

  • Lead brand marketing, digital marketing, and customer-focused communications to strengthen market positioning and drive awareness, relevance, and loyalty.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive leadership on organizational health, culture, brand stewardship, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Oversee internal and external communications to ensure message consistency, transparency, and alignment with company values.

  • Guide the company’s approach to community affairs and corporate giving, ensuring impact-driven philanthropy aligned with business and community priorities.

  • Advance the employer brand and employee value proposition, helping attract, develop, and retain top talent.

  • Create and manage metrics to assess impact across brand, talent, and community initiatives, using data to drive continuous improvement.

  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to break down silos and create integrated experiences for employees, customers, and communities.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. 

  • At least 10 years of related experience with at least  5 years of experience in a management position or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Exhibit a passion for purpose-driven leadership, with the ability to inspire teams and foster connection to mission, values, and community impact.

It would be great if you:

  • Have experience in the insurance industry, particularly in workers’ compensation.

  • Have led transformation or integration efforts across people, brand, and culture domains.

  • Have experience working with boards or executive committees on strategic talent and brand matters.

The base pay is based on the market evaluation of the job. Individual base pay is determined by a variety of factors, including experience, performance, education, and demonstration of skills and competencies required for each role. Your recruiter can discuss the full value of our total compensation package with you, including our generous bonus plans and flex-hybrid work model.

Texas Mutual’s flex-hybrid schedule allows you to bring your best self to work by working remotely and collaborating in the office based on business needs. All Texas Mutual employees are required to have Texas residency and travel to their designated office as needed.
