Wastewater Systems Mechanical Electrician presso Fairfield Glade Resort

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for providing mechanical and electrical assistance in the operation and maintenance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant and Collection System.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Performs preventative maintenance on lift stations.

•    Troubleshoots maintenance problems and recommends corrective action.

•    Provides accurate time and materials reports for accounting purposes.

•    Monitors pump stations via SCADA and responds to alarm conditions when needed.

•    Other duties as assigned by Wastewater Systems Superintendent.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

•    High School or GED, some college preferred

•    Experience trouble shooting and repairing electrical/mechanical equipment 

•    Experience in the operation and maintenance of sewage pumping stations and sewage collections systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•    Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

•    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

REQUIRED LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATES

•    Valid TN Driver’s License, CDL a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

•    Walking and standing for extended periods of time.

•    Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time (more with assistance)
