We’re Hiring for an Electrical Estimator – NW Houston | Family-Owned Electrical Contractor 🔌
Location: Northwest Houston, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Salary: $80,000 – $100,000/year + Bonuses 2x/year
Job Type: Full-time | Primarily In-Office | Light Site Visits
We are hiring on behalf of a well-established, family-owned electrical contractor based in Northwest Houston.
They are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator who can handle multiple smaller projects at once and thrives in a team-oriented, fast-paced, and supportive environment.
Position Highlights:
- Estimate and manage 5–6 smaller jobs at a time
- Project sizes range from $1,000 to $100,000
- Work is primarily in-office, with occasional job site visits
- Use Accubid to generate accurate takeoffs and bids
- Collaborate with project managers and field teams
Project Types Include:
- Ground-up commercial and residential
- Office build-outs, medical/healthcare facilities
- Corporate interiors and special projects
- No industrial work
Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ years of experience in electrical estimating
- Proficient with Accubid
- Strong blueprint reading and takeoff skills
- Familiar with NEC and Houston-area codes
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple jobs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
