Garbage Man - 23708 presso The Bergaila Companies

We are seeking a Garbage Man for assignment in The Villages, Florida. The selected candidate will collect trash and garbage from city residents, and commercial establishments, onto a collection vehicle on an assigned shift.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 5:30am - 1:30pm

** This posiiton has a pay rate of $15/hr **

** This position is for a pitcher working on the back of a garbage truck **

- Works on an assigned garbage collection route as a member of a collection crew

- Picks up garbage and trash and loads materials into collection truck

- Cleans area of collection

- Assists with cleaning trucks and related equipment

- Assists with performing preventive maintenance checks and services on vehicles and equipment daily

- Performs other duties as required

- A valid Drivers License

- 18 years of age or older

- Ability to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods, often under adverse weather conditions
