Description
Position Purpose:
The overall responsibility of cleaning the facility's interior and exterior to maintain a neat and clean environment for employees of Andrew Wommack Ministries, students and staff of Charis Bible College as well as visitors.
Essential Duties:
- Clean, vacuum, and straighten chairs in the auditorium as well as classrooms and offices
- Dusting, sweeping/washing/waxing solid floor surfaces, stairs, cleaning windows/mirrors
- Clean kitchen/dining room tables, fixtures, and appliances, re-stocking of plasticware and paper plates, etc., straightening furniture and freshening up
- Clean bathrooms and fixtures and restock bathroom amenities
- Set up the auditorium and classrooms for school as well as other events
- Empty trash cans and maintain the cleanliness of the facility as directed
- Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills
- Must have good technical, reading, and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to operate Windows-based computer and navigate Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to perform physical labor and able to sit/stand/walk for extended periods
- Develop and maintain cooperative working relations with those contacted in the course of work.
- Must be able to use and handle various cleaning products
- Basic skills for operating cleaning equipment tools for general cleaning
- Must have good time management skills
- Must be able to work independently and be a self-starter
- Must be professional and friendly
- Must be able to physically lift 50lbs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- May be required to operate industrial weight carpet shampooer/floor scrubber and floor polisher
Requirements:
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Must sign Statement of Faith
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred
- Must pass all required checks
Experience:
- Prior custodial experience is preferred
- Compensation is commensurate with experience.
