Level II Automation Engineer presso Steel Dynamics, Inc.

• Maintain and develop Melt-Cast Ignition (Level 2) & SQL servers (Hardware and Software)
• Develop process automations with the assistance of operations and electrical personnel
• Provide 24/7 support for production systems
• Ensure robust data capture for environmental compliance & product certification
• Coordinate technical projects with operations and contractors
• Design system functions strategically & holistically
• Work safely and adhere to all safety requirements while performing tasks in the mill

Required

• 4-Year degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Python, SQL Server Management, Windows Server, UI Design Experience

Preferred

• Ignition, SQL, Network Infrastructure, PLC Experience
• Initiative-Taking, Dilligence, Communication, Problem Solving, Creativity, Methodical, Organized
