Summary

The Data Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data within the organization. This role involves analyzing data sets, identifying data quality issues, implementing solutions, and collaborating with other teams to maintain high data standards. The analyst supports data-driven decision-making by providing insights and recommendations based on data quality assessments.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborates with clubs, Engineers, and Analysts to improve data quality.
  • Defines requirements, implements procedures, and develops high-quality automation solutions.
  • Conducts routine audits and testing of data quality processes.
  • Creates and maintains data transformation scripts.
  • Performs data mining, profiling, and cleansing.
  • Applies business rules to generate business intelligence.
  • Provides subject matter expertise on association metrics, club data, and partner data.
  • Monitors data management projects and ensures quality standards.
  • Creates, maintains, and monitors quality dashboards.
  • Monitors data completion and communicates with clubs or partners to send missing data.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics:

  • Proficient in data quality software, data profiling, cleansing, and business intelligence software. Familiarity with data enhancement variables.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills. 
  • Experience reviewing structured data from financial documents or operational sources. 
  • Comfortable working with AI/ML systems and providing feedback to improve extraction accuracy.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills, with experience creating training materials or SOPs.
  • Analytical thinker who can recommend and implement process improvements. 
  • Adaptable in fast-paced environments, able to manage multiple priorities.

            Education, Experience, & Certifications:

            • Bachelor's degree in computer science, analytical marketing, or related field.
            • Two (2) or more years of experience in business applications and data-driven decision-making with a focus on data management and data quality.
            • Experience with ETL processes and statistical analysis is a plus.

            Hiring Range: $67,750 - $84,010

            This position is also eligible for participation in AAA, Inc.'s Annual Incentive Plan.
