In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to our Human Resources team in Hutchinson, KS, responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process. Your work ensures an exceptional candidate experience while helping DCI continue to build a high-performing, values-aligned team that powers the future of community banking.

What You’ll Do:
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the recruiting efforts for all open positions, including intake sessions with hiring managers, sourcing candidates, screening, scheduling interviews, and coordinating travel.
- Provide a welcoming, professional, and efficient experience for candidates throughout the recruitment journey.
- Assist in interviews and provide candidate feedback to hiring managers.
- Perform pre-employment screenings, including education verification, drug screens, and background checks.
- Respond to candidates regarding the status of their applications in a timely manner.
- Maintain and optimize the Applicant Tracking System (Paylocity preferred) to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Attend job fairs and build relationships that enhance DCI’s employer brand and talent acquisition strategy.
- Support onboarding efforts, including new hire orientations and compliance with labor laws.
- Create and maintain employee files, manage I-9s, and submit new-hire reports to applicable states.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal labor law posters at all DCI locations.
- Act as a backup for HR processes, including payroll input and processing.
- Leverage HR technology and automation to improve efficiency across recruiting and HR operations.
What Will Help You Stand Out:
Preferred Qualifications:
- PHR certification.
- Experience with Paylocity.
- Strong interest and skills in HR technology, automation, and process improvement.
- Working knowledge of employment law and best practices in recruiting.
- Previous experience in banking or financial services.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resource Management, or equivalent education/experience.
- 3–5 years of Human Resources experience with a strong focus on full-cycle recruiting.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
- Proficient in HRIS and applicant tracking systems.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills with a sense of urgency.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and general internet research.
